Twitter and Facebook

This is a screenshot of the event i have set up on my twitter and facebook page,in which people can leave comments and interact with me, with any enquiries and comments

Audience!

I want my event to reach as many people as possible so i have set up a facebook page and a twitter page as a majourity of people use the networking sites to contact people and socialise with one another.If someone sees an event that everyone is going to they are more likely to come as it seems popular.
As more people are likely to view the facebook and twitter pages these will display information about the event as a younger person is more likely to read facebook than a blog or website information will displayed on all contact sites.Links will be shown on facebook and twitter to access to weebly and my blog to show the progression of the event.

I have keep the blog and weebly consistent using dark and bright colours yet with facebook and twitter i have minimalised it so that its not to overpowering for the eye.If i keep it simple it will be quicker for the viewer to read and if there more interested then they can follow the links to the other pages.

Feedback

From the feedback given i needed to make the event more realistic....

I have decided that there should be music at the event so that its not boring and people have something to dance and sing to

however...

buying or renting big speakers to fill the event so that everyone can hear is going to be expensive and hard to achieve within the area...

So i have come up with the idea of a sponsor like Capital FM a radio station that could promote the event and provide live coverage of the event as well as play musioc so that people who couldn't make it to the event can listen live at the comfort and lesiure of their own home as a feel not everyone will want to go out into the cold.Using them as a sponsor will be able to collect money for charity so the events purpose will be around ahving fun and raising money for charity.

With the event being for charity i think that people will be more oblidged to attend as its for a good cause.Promoting it on the radio will also gain a wider target market as the radio station is well known and has alot of listeners, the station has also done alot of charity work in the past so that will invite more viewers.

Think Think Think!!

There are a lot of things that i need to ensure so that people will want to attend the event.I don't want to plan everything and then no one turn up as it will be unsuccessful, to ensure that this wont happen i have decided to provide uv paint and glowsticks at the event to almost entice people to come however they will need to come in costumes.I will provide a list of websites in which people can buy cheap clothing for the event as i don't think that people will want to spend too much money on something that will only last one day.Something that is cheap will draw people to attend as in this resession people may not be able to afford it.I think that with the event being cheap people will attend and i think it wil be a success and i am looking forward to the final outcome from the scene and around it as observing the event ufold will be an intreuging site.

week 10!

During todays lesson we went through all of the requirments for the brief,creating an index page with everything on for our cd.We created this on dreamweaver by adding pages and links so that you can see the content, i found this pretty easy to use and do as it was simplistic.

I also added gadgets on to my blog through the design page,this was a really useful page as you can add images videos etca and add links to them as well as organise and change there sizes so that it looks professional.

week 9 !!!

During todays lesson we started to look at other examples of blogs that have banners on them,this was so that we could gain some inspiration from these to influence our design of our banner.

Then in class we created our own banner,this is my banner the uv rave fades in first then the place and then the time,they then fade back out leaving the date on last so that it sticks in your head.I decided to include a date in my event so that people don't make plans as i feel if i don't include a date people may not turn up.

Above is my banner in photo shop in which i have created.I found this really easy to create alot easier than the other programmes and i am really pleased with my outcome as it isn't to complicated nor to simple.

Handwritten text

In todays lesson we were looking at examples of flash websites in which they were based with handwritten texts.We completed a task in which we used animation within photoshop to create simplistic designs.I personally didn't realise that this was possible on photoshop and it seems really easy to do which will come in handy in the future.You can add a variety of effects to pictures or create your own which i found really engaging as it can make the animations more personal.
